Nicole Norris is a Real Estate Broker and Notary Public and represents the third generation of Marquardt Property Management. Nicole is an Oakland native with more than 15 years experience with investment properties.
About Us
In 1960 Barbara Marquardt opened her own Real Estate office- "Marquardt Realtors". This came after working for many years in Real Estate while a single mother raising her 5 daughters. Barbara was dedicated to creating opportunity in her community for everyone to have equal access to real estate - working in the industry and/or investing in our neighborhoods.
Over the years "Marquardt Realtors" embraced and promoted rental housing in the community. In the 70's Barbara shifted her focus from sales to property management. She understood the importance of assisting clients with optimizing their investments in rental properties-to providing our community with desirable, clean and affordable rental housing. Marquardt "Realtors" became "Marquardt Property Management" in the 80's as the office dedicated itself to property management.
Barbara served as director with the Oakland Board of Realtors and as President of the Women's Council of Realtors. She stayed engaged and involved with the Oakland Public schools as each of her daughters traveled thru the school system, while working at the office and volunteering in the community. Although Barbara officially retired in 1989 she continued to be a part of the family business that her two daughters continued to maintain as their mother had. On April 11, 2003 Barbara passed away. Barbara's passion for public service continues with the generations of her family who remain dedicated to the business.
Marquardt Property Management adheres to the dedication and values that Barbara built the business nearly 60 years ago. We are a family business, and our clients are part of our family.

Judi
Judi Marquardt is Real Estate Broker with 40 years of experience in Oakland. Her deep community ties have included being co-founder of City of Oakland Camps in Common, and Past-President of East Oakland Rotary.
Joanna
Joanna began as an apprentice 29 years ago. She brings decades of devoted hands on experience of living and working in Oakland. Joanna's knowledge of the many aspects of Oakland property management give her credentials beyond compare.
Alysia
Alysia has 3 years experience working part time at the office while continuing her education.
John
John- a veteran of the US Navy- brings 30 years of Silicon Valley Technical and Management experience to Marquardt. John is responsible for Customer Service, IT, Operations, and Program Office at the company.
